No Bake Granola Bars

Thank you to our friends at Nut Kreations located in downtown Santa Cruz, CA who have generously shared this yummy and healthy raw and vegan recipe! This is a great after school treat for kids.

Ingredients:

2 large overripe bananas

1 C oats

1/2 C crunchy cereal

2 T pure maple syrup

2 T peanut butter or other nut/seed butter

2 T semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 T dried cranberries or other dried fruit

2-4 t. cocoa powder

Directions:

  • Line a muffin pan with paper liners
  • In a big mixing bowl, mash bananas
  • Add wet ingredients and cocoa powder and mix well
  • Add final ingredients and mix them all in together
  • Press mixture into paper liners
  • Freeze at least 60 minutes before serving
  • Enjoy!
